Callao (30 miles north of Lima) Think this is the front of a
Military(naval) Museum and Fort that
we visited. Cameras were not allowed so this is not my photo. Had to say this to avoid incriminating myself (yes I did not take the photo PROMISE). It was a great tour to learn and see historical
figures and learn about the history of Peru. We also met a nice couple (who spoke English) and translated the tour guides words into English . See below.. All seven of us (I took this pictures) had to squeeze into a little VW bug to be given a tour of LIMA from the viewpoint of a native.

of Callao area beaches, Not what I expected, thought there would be
sand and well put the towel down and have a winter tan. .Also not a
very safe 
place to park
the VW so we couldn't stay long...
